It doesn't have anything to do with "command", that's just J. Cole's style and delivery. There are laid-back rappers and rappers with "command". There's the Lloyd Banks type and there's the Kanye West type. As far as 50's hook goes, its obvious they raised the volume of his voice on the track. They can do the same for J. Cole if they wanted to.

Who is THEY?

This nikka Cole brags about his production yet you telling me the track ain't mixed properly? :mjpls:

THEY as in the mixers/producers/engineers. No, I'm not saying the track isn't mixed properly :what: I'm saying they raised the volume up for 50's hook and chose to keep it regular for J. Cole. Why would you double J. Cole's voice/raise his voice to match 50's in a verse? It wouldn't sound right.

Just heard it without an outside influence, didnt want be tainted by stans or haters. My opinion on it, it was just alright. Not bad in any sense, but nothing special. Had a few very solid cuts tho.

Insignificant posting from an insignificant poster
I liked the album upon first listen on Monday and 2 days later, i enjoy it twice as much.

Very nice album. Cole spits like a madman and his penchant for beatsmithing is exemplary to the touch (he's fine-tuned his producerial wizardry up several notches, to which, it wasn't bad off the bat; i'd say his skills behind the boards > Krit - but not my much).

One of this years (and throw in 2012) better mixtape/lp efforts. Top 10 so far for me.

only even remotely wack song to me is Ain't That Some shyt. This coupled with the Truly Yours projects, Cole blessed us with 20+ fire ass songs so far this year.

The second half is way better. I could have done without there interludes. The TLC song could be huge this summer

:why:Your on dust. If you think Cole is a better producer than KRIT then you really have lost the plot. Its cool to commend Cole, but lets keep it 100.

Your version not got She Knows?

On the real at first i was underwhelmed, especially after listening to Prodigy + Alc its such a different sound. But once i gave it some more spins and got a high quality version, this album grew on me like a muthaf*cka

Villuminati
Trouble
Runaway
Mo Money
Rich nikkaz
Let Nas down

All them tracks are hard as fukk.

I hate she knows and crooked smile tho

All in all, this got to be a W for Cole
