Honestly as much as I hate on J. Cole this isn't too bad imo

He stepped his delivery up big n/h time, his breath control n/h, the cadence, the presence— he came n/h with it.

I have yet to hear one track that was as absolutely corny and as Mr. Nice Watch.

I don't feel n/h his music still, but one or two songs, like Villuminati for example, are really, really good production-wise and bar-wise.

I like the concepts of some these tracks, too. It's not my cup of tea, but it's definitely not bad music, I'd say he stepped his game up big time. Just listening to this you can tell he's come n/h a long way.

after a second listen today, born sinner is a solid album

not an all time great album, but its a real good second album

much better than sideline story, that album had such a boring commercial sound

his raps are still weak to me, idk just doesnt grab my attention

his production tho, huge improvements

edit: best song on the album is an Interlude

Real nikka all day

Smooth typical Cole shyt so far. Its like a car with one gear. A good gear but its no overdrive. I understand why people call him boring. I appreciate it but his music is definitely mood music. Cant bump this shyt on a regular basis before you go out or nothing like that.

Cool so far tho. Im bout 1/3 thru. Just finished "Runaway"
