Drake grew up in middle class Toronto and has rapped about being in the kitchen with the pot and rapping about his people catching bodies and throwing people off cliffs. He acts tough but gets snuffed by Puff and does nothing.
:what:

The first two lines you referenced where metaphors from rap.

I don't remember Drake talking about throwing people of cliffs.

That Diddy shyt isn't even true

he recently said something about gettin his nikkaz to throw u off the scarbrough cliff or some shyt like that

Oh yeah on "believe me"

Thats just rap shyt. Cole has had his fair share of drug and gun talk. Even on this album.
Drake said he can't relate to the struggle so that's why he doesn't have any socially conscious songs. For that reason alone Drake shouldn't be considered a real rapper.

Socially conscious songs aren't a requirement in rap.

Rappers should go in the booth and do them anyway.

If you can't relate to the struggle then what's your purpose of rapping? Even Em had socially conscious songs going at George Bush. You can't be considered a real rapper if you can't relate to the struggle. You're a pop act that rhymes if that's the case.

cole raps about that stuff from a 3rd person view as a story, thats different from cole saying when u come to ny and u talk shyt me and my nyu nikkaz gon throw u off the Brooklyn bridge

but like i u said i feel its rap shyt to so i dont take it serious and if he truly wanted a nikkaz thrown off a cliff im sure he has the money to make it happen

The purpose of rapping is whatever your purpose is for rapping.

No one gives a fukk what your definition of "real rapper" is

This can be said for every rapper.
