The top selling rappers of the past two years are: Jay Z, Wale, Cole, Drake, Macklemore, Eminem, Kanye. But hip hop still is the way it is. None of those guys fit the stereotypes but it does not matter. Labels will push singles and whatever is buzzin'.

We did not get more of those guys pushed to the fornt this year, we got Iggy Azalea. You guys need to stop the wishful thinking. The "masses" are not tired of shyt. Drake grew up in middle class Toronto and has rapped about being in the kitchen with the pot and rapping about his people catching bodies and throwing people off cliffs. He acts tough but gets snuffed by Puff and does nothing.
