Y'all must of forgot how much outrage rappers in the 90's use to get over their lyrics. The thing is Autism is becoming a big deal in this country and a lot more people are having kids with it. It's a struggle for those parents.

Nothing wrong with Cole apologizing, the problem IMO is with how America is growing backwards right now in terms of artistic freedom. Every fvcking line is offensive people need to grow the fvck up :snoop:

For example me and scary movies don't mix so what do I do? Protest that scary movies are to grimey? :stopitslime:

This super PC shyt is annoying, people are over analyzing the most mundane lyrics...we need another 2 live crew and nwa to come rough shyt up again
lol we already got that in Odd Future kinda. They say shyt worse than that, but their music ain't really assessable like that I guess so it goes unoticed.

but Cole in another league now. If he said this shyt 2-3 years ago, no one would bat an eye, but he's like one of hip hops flagship artists now so he gotta watch his mouth. Comes with the territory :manny:

J. Cole and Hip Hop damages families and children brehs.

Damn they shytted on him with that sales comment. :wow:

Exactly. No one forced him and hes not a 'bytch' for this. He has no endorsements to lose and he had the option to just keep it moving. He didn't want to and felt the need to say sorry. That's cool, hes a regular guy.

You guys want everyone to be hardcore and Hip Hop to be real edgy but that shipped sailed in the 90s. Its 2013.
Well Hip Hop can be and often still is edgy and "hardcore", whether people
want it to be however is an entirely different matter.....

Exactly, also its a struggle for autistic people as well, the unemployment rate for autistic people is like 90 percent... Autistic people have it tough out here, we don't need rappers comparing autistic people to mentally challenged people and further spreading negative stereotypes.

I mean is that hard to simply not use that as a punchline in your song? I noticed these rappers never come at Jews or Street gangs sideways, I wonder why :mjpls:

The question is does it need to be edgy and hardcore in every instance or is it better, for everyone, that is shows diversity and different perspectives? You have the hardcore with the regular.
