Since they are all on K. Dot's nuts though, they are gonna have a harder time ignoring him when he drops with a similar message to Cole.

no... with only 1 album kendrick went platinum (+1.3M) while cole's best effort is still stuck at 700/800 k

and Kdot next project is projected at 500K first week.

and considering the fact that kendrick had the most talked about performance at the grammy awards this year, i'm sure more people know who he is.

But Drake is by far the most popular artist of this generation

That's what I'm saying, he don't have the fire.

Maybe he can be this generations Young MC or some shyt.

For some reason, his music doesn't draw me in.I recognize that it's good& positive/ attempts to h

It's something missing that's pushing him more to the bland side.Like a oatmeal cookie without enough butter and cinnamon.

I really can't call it

i don't know, for me personally when i first heard "who dat" i pretty much slept on j cole. i watched the video and never checked for him. then when i heard can't get enough that track drew me in,just the beat and the way he was rhyming. its a cliche commercial song but that track was classic to me (I'm using classic loosely there) so after checking the previous mixtapes and then sideline story i was an instant fan just off the real shyt he was saying ..

i like the new album, will prob grow on me more. i think he has potential to be here for awhile, cant deny the dudes talent.

but yeah, for me he's a soft pac,the fire aint there but he makes those deep tracks and it aint corny when he does it ..
