This is J.Cole Truth Album, this is his truth, I will mos Def give it a spin. It's his truth and a satire of the Current State of Hip Hop, he's holding a mirror to hip hop face and he's talking to The Mumble Rap Generation with Trap Beats, Trap Flow with a Message.

I respect that

City of Angels :blessed:
I listened to it once, and never want to hear it again.

Same feeling I got from Pimp a Butterfly.

Idk what’s up with these new crop of “god MC’s”, but the replay value on their projects just not the same as Jay and Nas shyt.

I’d rather have quality music I can listen to over and over, than shyt with a “deep” message I just wanna listen to once.

Oh Well.

Same shyt I’m thinking after one listen except I disagree about TPAB.

This Cole album has no replay value for me.

This shyt ain’t it, but the “you gotta have a certain level of intelligence” crowd gonna say you’re tasteless swine if you don’t sing this albums praises.

shyt just not that good. Born Sinner was better, Friday night lights was better.

This nikka clearly been reading his own press clippings too much, and trying to “out woke” Kendrick (who has been in a steady decline since good kid maad city idc what cac award he gets) and it’s just resulting in music that sounds like he’s rapping AT you and he don’t care about making enjoyable music any more.

He was supposed to be the next Jay :mjcry:

Jay knew how to give you bars, a message, and make it enjoyable.

Idk what this shyt was.

I never wanna hear this again in its entirety.
