This album is super ehhhhhh.

...I'm trying to catch a vibe...grasp to a topic...but it keeps seeming like he's talking about something that I'm just not privy to, or I'm not smart enough to figure out. It's irritating..

Like he's scatter brained trying too hard to be artsy. Spell that shyt out.

I get it. J Cole isn't for everyone. He makes music for the refined spirit who isn't afraid to acknowledge their flaws and the complexities of human behavior. His words paint vivid stories of life, love and the unbounded possibility of thought. There is no mumble in his message.

J Cole’s album is not for everyone, this shyt is real! It’s for down to earth grounded people. Not for the artificial materialistic mindset. This album is awesome and you can only see it if you actually listen to it. I don’t know about y’all but I like it a lot. Not disappointed

Listening to the album, and it only proves what I said about him in this thread some pages before.

First listen and I love the album, it's better than 4yeo of course but not better than his other shyt

I have no clue what people were expecting, stop expecting a rapper to move backwards and make music like he used to.

I also feel a lot of Xxxtentacion in this album, which is maybe why I like the album more than other people do.

Hope the guys that hate this support Joey Badass since I think that's what you guys are expecting

You remember when Sosa and McGuire were taking steroids and getting better and Bonds who felt like the best without the steroids was not getting the appreciate and knew that if he took steroids he would be the best in the league

That's what this album feels like. J.Cole is bonds and Sosa and McGuire is the new school rappers with the new flow and new beats.

I feel like this is J.Cole's answer to the new school
