i think first half of the album does an effective job with his own beats. second half besides 1985 is basically the same style production he has been using for a couple years.
Read elsewhere that The Fall Off is actually this album in reverse. Dont quote me on that though cause Cole may put something out.

J Cole need to work with No Id and Mike Will and let someone else take executive produce his next joint because these last 2 has been decent to say the least.
yeah he seems very diy these days. doesnt even feature his own artists which i think is a mistake in the long run.
