I'm talking about an artist with mainstream appeal

None. No one in the mainstream of these 10s artist i think lives to there hype. But I do like some songs/ albums by them.

But it also depends who u see is in that mainstream appeal group. As there is some names that I do like. But don't know if they considered in that group

The music video itself reminds me of something Busta Rhymes would do back in the 90s. Probably the only thing I liked about this project.

Cole now compared to when he came out is no comparison artistically and skill wise

-Song Crafting
-Rhyme Consistency


Have all improved since I Remember being first introduced to Cole in What like 08? Or something .... I don’t recall even hearing those cringe worthy “you can’t out fart me” forced metaphors on this project ... but you know what it is ... a lot of people have an emotional connection to an artist at their inception and that’s why you always hear the listener telling them to “go back to that old sound” ...it’s usually because the listener is trying to recapture some nostalgic place/memories that the artists old music held in their lives ...so it’s understandable when I see people constantly clamoring for music from nearly 10 years ago
