I could never get into 4 Your Eyez Only, but Cole came back with a vengeance with this album. Had some fun listening to KOD back in 2018. :obama:

Does anyone else feel like DAMN. influenced this project? I saw some similarities between them at the time.

Hearing him describe this and 4YEO as “side quest” was interesting. It felt like concept album in REAL time.

Cole rapped about therapy and trauma before a certain advisory of his did 4 years later but that’s another discussion for another day.

Such an underwhelming album… Cole can best be described as an artist who always tries but never quite reaches his goal, and his fans have grown so tired of watching him try that they’ve started giving him sympathy points just for the effort...but thats another discussion for another day.

I completely forgot this album existed. I’m not even sure where it ranks in his discography, since all of his projects tend to fall flat.
