If I were Cole I would N E V E R allow anyone to produce for me on my albums fukk ya’ll.

Get ALL them checks Cole. The man goes platinum every album he gotta be doing SOMETHING right

:gucci: look at Donald glover showing out right here yall.

Cole is boring as a producer always has been, if he would just step back from that and let go over some top tier beats :ohlawd::damn:

I'm not mad at him getting that bag but if some producers would hold this man hostage so he could rap over their production would be ideal :mjlol:

I'd love to see him do like Curren$y does and lock in with a single producer for an entire project.

Everywhere...You never there.
Under the Sun video filmed in the Bronx

False Prophets video filmed in Queens and on MTA bus

Son is known to ride his bike low key in the city just blending in

“My new crib got the Times Square view to it”

Cole made that pilgrimage from Carolina to the city like so many before him

:wow:
Y’all gassin it :mjlol: he got scholarship to St. John’s of course he was gonna stick around .

:wow: hopefully these freestyles ain’t better than everything on the album tho :sadcam:

Cole fooled me once with 4 Your Eyez Only. I have a good feeling he's not going to do that again.

Fool me once, shame on me. Fool me twice.......fiddle dee dee. And if you try fooling me three times, then........I probably deserved to be fooled that time. :yeshrug:

The Ummah!
I enjoyed it. But no shame on spitting written as freestyles anymore. To the point you can tell he picked the beats and told them before he showed up he wanted to "freestyle" to them. At least the roc and the unit was using writtens on random beats flex picked

Habibi acting like a whole fakkit in here

anyway...as a nikka whos been hella critical of cole I thoroughly enjoyed this...especially the still tippin portion. Hes definitely improved as a technician and you can tell hes workin on the bars/one liners/punches etc...that’s probably my only gripe with him at this point as far as him being a rapper. This got me reinterested in the album cuz that “Interlude” track wasnt it for me

Very well possible, though I didn't get that from this verse, just thought it was a clever bar. He can certainly afford it if he wants it...

I just remember hearing about him moving back when he had his first kid (he has two now), but this NY Times article from 2017 says he came back "a few years" prior, but thats probably around the time I heard it too and people started seeing him out and about here once in awhile...
