its like their interviewing a crossing guard who spends time reading history books, instead of a musician..

It makes me like him less hearing his opinions about relationships. He sounds like a terrible spouse. I still like some of his music though.

BTW Did you all see is fiance on Wheel of Fortune. Her voice is so funny. I feel sorry for her sometimes. I could never do it. I think she has a plan though.

I'm kinda annoyed that he gave Combat this interview. I've always thought that Combat has never been the best interviewer ever. Infact, maybe that's why they gave it to him. Dude doesn't press enough for me.

Case and point this fukking Diddy situation. I actually completely forgot about that, so I salute Combat for bringing it up. But God, Cole was dancing all around that. Ebro would've almost certainly got some information out of him. I feel like I've sat through this entire two hours and not really learnt anything that I didn't know already as a Cole fan, which is also annoying. Then they go and get Combat's son who cannot even fukking ask a decent question in this mufukker.

Iono how you got one of the biggest rappers in the game on your shyt who doesn't even do press and you're asking these bum ass questions, but fukk it. Album still fire.

That's exactly why he chose them. He doesn't want people to ask him about those types of things. I wanted him to do an interview with the breakfast club b/c they ask about everything Ex.. I wanted to hear about why his fiance was on wheel of fortune yesterday or his engagement. I'm sure charlamange would've asked about those things. He asked about him and that diggy situation.

I didn't listen to the whole thing. I shut it off after what he said about expectations and relationships. I was kind of annoyed after I heard that.

What the hell are you gonna press J. Cole about?
Or a majority of his guests for that matter he's not interviewing Azelia Banks, up and coming rappers, Savages, Reality TV stars and shyt like Ebro
Ebro only "press" insignificant people.

Combat is not there to press people, he walks through their careers and thoughts about things. He asked Manda and Dame a bunch of questions but cats wanted him to ask stupid questions. Dude is intelligent not some half ass comedian, they press on what's worth squeezing on, like the rapgenius dudes. And they also play good cop and bad cop on the show.

I wanted to hear about why his fiance was on wheel of fortune yesterday or his engagement so that his other women could get angry and spill his information. I'm sure charlamange would've asked about those things. He asked about him and that diggy situation.

So you want gossip?

Thats exactly why TBC is whack, wannabe TMZ lite. Combat Jack is about the music/artistry.

I'm a J. Cole stan, I've read and/or peeped every single thing about this album as I do for any of his shyt. I still to this day don't know why there are no features on this shyt. I still don't know why he has never really ventured out of his Dreamville circle for production. I still don't know where that Kendrick project is that he's been talking about for two years. I don't know what his situation is now his Colombia deal is up. What's good with Bas? Or that new nikka Cozz?

I duno dog, I feel like I've sat through two hours of this shyt and I don't know anything new about dude. Hell, dude even got engaged few weeks ago right? No mention.

Two hours with someone who doesn't do press is a long ass time. I feel like it coulda been used better :manny:

Have you ever listened to a Combat Jack interview before or was this your first time?
