especially dude who said "this must be old Gucci verses someone found in a hard drive.."
Ahh didn't even realize that was Gazaway. De La/Fela and Mos/Marvin Gaye are my two favorites by him
Can we get OJ and Dilla next whew he flowed over that Dilla beat so smoothly
This is evidence that good production can make anything sound dope. Noe even hating on Gucci. But I never get it when people say that raps are WAY more important than beats
That beat is absolute fire does anyone have the OG Dilla track of that?
Or can yall just identify what Dilla track that is as I probably have it somewhere in the hundreds of Dilla beats I have in various folders
Salute. I really put no effort in to identify it myself that was mad obvious haha
This is probably the only Gucci Mane track that I enjoyed to listen too before listening to this tape.
I wish there was a gucci mashup with these other J Dilla produced tracks
What's the original song? This got me listening to pimp c on tidal and old OJ mixtapes lol
Who remembers this? I just downloaded it I had it on random so it started off with the so far to go track (#9) but it sounded so low quality. Is it me? Anyway.

Thanks for this - I was off the thread title. Just started listening - this works better than I expected it to
Edit: This whole tape is
Why does some of that shyt sound so bootleg straight out the dusty vault status?
Dilla told us nearly 20 years ago
"Sound like it's straight from the muh'fukkin cassette"
Seriously though - that just adds to the vibe of it.
I don't think it's far fetched that in some alternate universe they could have worked together if Dilla was still here. I think he would have done it just to fukk with the "B-B-B-but Dilla's supposed to be underground " dudes.
shyt would have come out so fire that they would have been about being forced to admit it's dopeness too
