IMO....JID should be a ghostwriter its something about him I don't want to hear him rap his voice is kinda ehhhh also
and the production is so far from my personal taste it ain't even funny....he can rap but this is just some shyt I would never ever listen to

It’s a good album but I think Forever Story was better. Community was prob my favorite track. Definitely feel like it started off great but started losing steam in the middle

same. I just started listening to him and it sounds like a chore at times. in spurts, it's solid though but can't do it all the way through

Good album but not GREAT.

I was looking for him to build off the hype of Forever Story, this one sounds a little too experimental at times and a little too pedestrian at times.

I think he’s the type of rapper that would do well with a single producer either doing all the beats or executive producing and helping to pick all the tracks like RZA did for Ghost with Supreme Clientele.

I hope his next project is the one with Metro Boomin.

Definitely special.

They were playing it at Revolution in Harlem yesterday, after a book signing. Buncha brothers and sisters in there vibing out to it CRAZY. Sh*t was beautiful!

Dude is a true lyricist and really has mastered songwriting. Been loving this project front to back, since it dropped.

JID can rap really well but I just find it bland. Clipse and Vince washed him without all the multi syllables and flow switches. Maybe it’s his voice which makes his presence lackluster because even Ciara and Kilo Ali sounded better than him in his song.

He’s just not for me. He’s a good rapper though.

A good rapper that (IMO) people want to be elevated as a great rapper and I just don’t see it. He’s a B graded rapper with A+ potential.
