His style of rap isn't really that exemplary of what lyrical rap is though. He in particular can be a chore to listen to and it isn't because his lyrics are too dense. His clarity is lacking at times, he sounds like the most annoying version of whatever Kendrick be doing and a lot of the shyt he says doesn't really stick or stand out.

Do you really think most people are looking for more lyrical rap as they get older? In my experience it’s just the opposite….

I think by that age most people ain't really looking for new rappers at all, and just playing what they've been listening from their youth to early adult years mostly.

Most of my playlist is full of rappers i was introduced to 10+ years, even Durk for example i've been listening to since 2012.

This is why the statement sounds strage, maybe he didn't listen to lyrical rappers at all during his youth years, but its still strange, when i was a teen Jeezy was big, then came the Chief Keef era, which i was all a fan of, still didn't stop me from listening to Life Is Good when it dropped in 2012.

No it's not

It is for me, if i talk to a 33 year old, and you tell me your top 5 is something like

Future
Durk
Lil Baby
Drake
Young Thug

for example i'm going to look at you like you'r slow and delayed.:russ:

I also wouldn't trust the music knowledge of said person outside of rap.

And i like every single one of those rappers.
