Then life of a rapper in 2020 gotta suck. Gotta “check in” with random street bullies or run the risk of being robbed or shot just for an honest day’s work performing a show. :mjlol:

They don’t even get paid shyt in the streaming era. The best thing about it is probably all the p*ssy, but meh. I’ll take my boring 9-5 life.

It's not about bullies

its about being safe when you in a city you not from

why not connect with someone who got pull and know the in and outs of the city, so you can be safe there when you moving around

dumb ass

So how does that work? Does J Prince send out emails and text messages saying," if you see a dude with a receding hairline and struggle mutton chops and jewelry, do not touch." ?

This whole thing shows how dysfunctional the culture is. Gotta check in. Stupidity. Only in Hip Hop.

Off-topic, but I wonder how this "check in" shyt works in regards to gentrification.

When nikkaz see land developers in their hard hats and pickup trucks, do they stop them and tell them they gotta check in before breaking ground or knocking down any buildings?:wow:

I would go to any hood in America. I'd just take a convoy of white boys with pickup trucks and construction equipment:troll:

My man...stay in your lane and stop giving your opinion on gangster shyt.

Idk which one your statements is more laughable. Trusting J Prince or checking in with Rick Ross - a known extorsion victim :russ:

Doing any of that will get you in trouble either way.

There isn't no "building" with people like J. Prince. It's either you accept his extortion fee, and he'll give you 2 knows dogs to hang with you or you go by yourself and deal with it.

Any real men would chose option number two. I rather pay security than to have a old fart extorting me.

Checking in with gangster is like checking in on Social Media. Gtfo. :stopitslime:

With your lack of street sense be happy that you're not on the level where people see you as extortsionable.

You come so naive in most of your posts that I really think you're trolling sometimes.

LOL!!!!!!

ya he be saying some goofy shyt lmaoooooooooo

Never. The whole concept exists only for black hiphop artists.
not true really

the mafia was running pockets long before nikkas like j.prince etc.

see they kept it low & evolved into contracts & paper.gangster tactics

the record business & major labels have criminal roots ha

They didn't have social media then, but I'm sure Lucky Luciano wasn't putting out newspaper ads or radio commercials telling Clark Gable he gotta check in.

The mob was definitely pressing celebrities to "come have a drink at my bar" (or else). They were definitely supplying prostitutes. They were definitely running the gay bars that celebrities would sneak into, and they were definitely taking pictures of lewd acts for future use.
The JDL was threatening rappers (and rock artists) BEFORE "rob a rapper" was a thing.

It was more like Machine Gun Jack Mcgurn would tell comedians not to leave his night club to preform at rival clubs for better pay or else they'd be killed. And if they stepped outta line like comedian Joe E Lewis they got stabbed up
