We all know that the music industry is corrupt - but come on - the Jews did not make a rapper use the N-word on his album. I seriously doubt that some grey-headed old guy had the guts to order a young black male - go and use this word 250 times on your album. Please. The word got popular, because rappers made it popular. You don't hear blues or jazz artists using it. The blame is on the artists themselves for allowing the word get lost in translation.

Who is to blame? Will Smith was succesful and didn't have to use the word once.

Jazz and blues musicians have always used the word. It was through jazz jive talk that people from the outside first became aware of the word "nikka"

No they didn't. Stop trying to push this narrative that Black People are all giddy about the word ******. Stop it. Nobody's buying what you're selling. Are their works out there pre-dating the 70s with the word, Yes. But not hardly like it is today

You really gotta hate Black People to be on the shyt you on right now

No they didn't.

they did. Jazz musicians used it in social gatherings/clubs/jam sessions and that's where white people learned of the jazz jive slang. Blues musicians even on early recording can be heard saying "Nigg(er)".

Stop trying to push this narrative that Black People are all giddy about the word ******. Stop it.

I don't make up shyt. I only come with facts.:ehh:

The words were always used but they were lowkey. More in eveyday regular life and not on recordings.

me, hating black people? :russ:If anything, Im one of the biggest spreaders on this board of black positivity/knowledge. Like I said, go read some slave/ex slave narratives and you'll be shocked at just how much they used the word "Nigg(er)" in it's original form:ohhh::skip:

I'm sure there were/are artists who used it. But if they used it, it wasn't on a huge mainstream level like rap/hiphop.

Your picture diss didn't work
But :mjpls: what are you arguing?

Or do you just wanna distract people with useless redundant information that adds nothing to the conversation foreal.

What does a Richard Pryor LP have to do with the way Keisha feels when Becky calls her a ******? What does that have to do with some Chinese kid singing "fukk that nikka up, shoot that gun" around your Aunties and lil sister that got them feelin all uncomfortable?

Nothing

Stop spamming the Thread with talking points from 1991. We're past that

Fool doesn't even realize that he's using PR shyt from Time-Warner and Universal n them from the Early 90s. It was never supposed to be this way.

The whole world wasn't supposed to be running around here using the N-Word so freely

why should I waste time with a cat who lacks knowledge of black history and then says

No. If we stopped using it in our Arts then the word would fall into the cracks again.

Yes. I lack knowledge becuz I don't immediately gravitate towards meaningless History that frankly, you're blowing outta proportion.

Yes of course. I missed that Glen Plumber clip that means absolutely everything.

You call people White don't you? Alright then, shut the fukk up :russ:

You're a weird guy :mjlol:

you're too dumb to realize negro, negroid, nigg(er) and black were once the same thing as defined by white people in the eyes of aframs. You have no problem with "black" now because we, as Aframs created a new concept and identity under "black", a word we once would start a fight over if called because it was once equal to the word "nigg(er)". The same reasons that make you dislike the "N Word" should hold true for "black".:sas1: For me, same reasons why Im not offended by "black" is the same reason why I don't view nikka as the same as Nigg(er). Just as we gave "black" our own definition and meaning, we altered a word, created one with a new meaning now known as "nikka".

Omg. How many times are you going to repeat that.

Are you trying to embed in my Brain that I really be needin to have White folks and Yellow folks and Brown People call me ******?

Because I don't see the point of u keep copy and pasting the same information that nobody's biting :russ:

The 90s called, they wanna know why you wasn't shootin with them in the gym.

Because your angle sounds good if you're the Black Guy who works in Marketing/Management at a major Label or Film Company. But it's utter nonsense actually trying to translate the ideology off into Real Life. Which is why no one is cosigning you.

You're just bringing up shyt that's old becuz you think it makes you appear more knowledgeable & likable. But really you just look like an idiot

In real life, no disrespect. But it looks like you the type to take Meds :yeshrug:
