It was supposed to be a luxury music festival (2017) in the Bahamas. The festival was to promote an app that you could use to book musical talent. They had celebrities and ig "influencers" promoting the shyt hard. What they promoted wasn't even close to what people got when they got there. It pretty much flopped in every single aspect. The guy who was running it was a known scammer. Watch the netflix doc on it. Prepare to be :dead:
Thanks, I just looked it up too. Ol' boy finessed everybody and had mufuggas sleeping in tents.

:deadmanny:

Rolling Loud wasn't responsible for security at their festival? Rolling Loud organizers weren't aware that some of the artists had charges and had potential to be booked but used their names to get ticket sales anyway :gucci:
Kodak was arrested for some shyt he hadn't been charged with yet.

Wayne said Rolling Loud had nothing to do with the security that was doing mandatory police searches.

Thug and NBA Youngboy were involved in some shyt off site.

The events of Rolling Loud were more impactful than some cheese sandwiches and disappointing accomodations, so like Ja said, where's the documentaries on that?
The celebrity involvement and the Fyre Festival's status as a meme generator/joke is what caused all the hoopla and media attention.

It is. One is more serious than the other. Yet the less serious one recieves more attention. Why is that?
Because the attention for Fyre Fest was very jokey, social media and celebrity based. It's easier to sell jokes and fluff pieces about celebrities.

Ja wasn’t responsible for the logistics of that festival, the white boy was. Ja was just the celebrity face getting a fee or a piece of the profits to attract other big names.

Yes

But that point can’t come from him as an excuse to get out of this shyt.
Lets be real, in the interest of arguing for black people, there is an element of "white people do it to" that is used all the fukkig time. Ja Rule aint doing anything new, especially to coli cats who follow the same logic (see any thread mentioning Mugabe for apex level shyt).

That said, JaRules name was everywhere after that shyt went down , so I am not surprised he aint feeling that shyt.

he seemed drunk the whole trip in the documentary because he probably knew what was going on. matter of fact the one guy from the island that worked with them said ja rule straight up asked him if they think itll happen and he said no.
