50 Cent fans will come in here and 1 star this thread because they don't want to handle the truth

When he stopped pretending to be Ja Rule, he reverted back to his wack rapping

:dead: :dead: :dead:

I’ll never forget the Animal Ambition review by Dead End Hip Hop roasting this album :mjlol: I think 50 suffers the same tone deaf ears like Em. Plus they got too much yes men to say that some of their music is not sonically good.

Yeah

Same pockets tonally. You could put best friend over the good die young beat and it wouldn't sound much different if at all.

Nobody waited for Fif's permission to decide that a lot of what Ja was doing was kinda faggy and grating, that came naturally.

Yeah, that sentiment was already bubbling before 50 became mainstream. All 50 did was vindicate that.

who keeps interviewing these washed rappers in order to hear the same thing over and over again

feel like calling up bret hart to hear about him talk about goldberg or montreal

"You know, when I wrestled Bill Goldberg, everybody told me he was dangerous. They told me he had some mental issues, he was uncoordinated. He was like Lenny from Of Mice and Men if Lenny was in ring shape. But I stood up for Bill Goldberg. I defended him when people called him 'Slowberg,' I said he was just a little green. I wanted to work with Bill Goldberg and prove to everyone he was better than people said he was.

When I, uh........was backstage with Bill Goldberg, I told him like this, I said 'I'll do whatever you want. I know you're new to this, but I'll protect you out there. Just don't hurt me. I'm serious. Don't hurt me. If you hurt me, I'm never going to forgive you.' And then he ended my career and I still haven't forgiven him. I promised him I'd protect him, and he tried to kill me. I don't know why he was so stupid that night, I really don't."

Norfeast groovin…
If you was around in real time then you know this is true. Part of what helped 50 was that nikkaz was sick of Ja’s singing ass acting like a fake Pac and 50 having been shot 9 times and not singing was a breath of fresh air.

Then this nikka started singing and I cut that shyt all the way off cuz he became just as annoying as Ja was at one point. Honestly, Biggaveli the only rap/singing artist that I rocked with back then.

Bone thugs too. They’re basically the originators.

Exactly.

50 was on the sing songy shyt from the jump. There is quite a bit of difference between 21 questions and singing in the fukking rain with Mary J Blige...like legit writing R&B records, which is a skill of course but trying to croon them yourself? 50 was doing what he ALWAYS did vocally and content wise.

He wasn't crooning like Ja, EVER, he simply made melodic singles that targeted women. Trying to conflate the two things is a very surface level observation that serves a particular agenda.
