If he knew 50 Cent was about to blow up and son his career into Bolivia a few months later, I'm sure Ja would have taken the starring role in "2 Fast 2 Furious" with the quickness. Especially when you look at the movies that followed. None would have netted him more long-term success than taking that starring role.

BTW Wikipedia mentions Luda's character in "2 Fast 2 Furious" was originally going to be played by Redman however he had to drop out b/c of scheduling conflicts.
