Ja would have won the battle against 50 cent if it wasn’t for Eminem. Eminem just had too much clout, fans and industry support. Man for Man. Music for Music. Art for Art. Skill for Skill. One on One. Ja would have smoked 50 cent. Sometimes the dice doesn’t roll in your favour
Not for nothing green lantern won that battle

Californ-i-a by way of BK
Ja was always kinda corny to me. He has a few songs here and there that I love, but he always sounded like he was doing 2Pac karaoke on his “deep” songs and his commercial records were too pop for me.

During his first album run I rocked with him (Holla Holla days), outside of that, I was straight.

Ja was making temporary music. Music thats really catchy for a hot minute then it's over. Almost like Hammer with better lyrics and no dancing. 50's gangsta image fueled by the hate he had for Ja for being "street cred backed" by the dude who tried to have him murdered just sped up Ja's inevitable downfall.
