Nah, this is just as trash as his last joint.

He has to recoup all the money he lost the label on that last piece of garbage, so they're rushing him back out. If he can't make any money on this one, we won't see this dude ever again. They have dude in a ridiculous 360.

He definitely recouped. That first class song went #1 on the charts and was there for awhile. If the label was trying to force him to drop more music to recoup he would’ve made more pop rap, not a bunch of raps about his personal life

I at least tried to listen to this...:manny:
I knew this dude had some skills with the Nail Tech song (actually fukked with the song). I also knew this white dude wasn't it on the Drake track...that's when I knew he don't love hip-hop like that, he just a fan like everybody else.

This new album got the better beats for sure, but the bars are...non-relatable as hell. He low as fukk on life experiences...he does know how to explain how white people enjoy rap though. This cac definitely self aware.

That being said, there's not one bar of his that I'll ever go back to listening to ever again.

Dropped the ball how? That album did numbers, he did exactly what he set out to do on that album. He didn’t like the new fame that came along with that album

It performed worse than the previous album even though it had a monster single. It was also trashed across the board critically.

That should have been his springboard to superstardom but it didn't quite pan out that way.

So I gave it another spin just to make sure it wasn't just that "this is something I didn't expect effect" and yeah the album is actually really good. It might not get a ton of spins on repeat but its a very solid 4/5 album.
Whoever mentioned it having a J cole vibe is 100 percent correct, very J cole/ mac miller/ Drake ish.
Also that last track sounds like it was "drake" inspired.

My review. He raps like Mac Miller or J Cole depending on the song and the beats have a Kanye West vibe.

Its not bad, cos theres a consistent vibe and you can take him more seriously. At the same time he needs to find his own lane rather than sounding like others. And the songs are too short. Its like if ADHD was a rapper.

The worst offender is gang gang, cos hes talking about serious shyt, and the song is too short for him to explain wtf his point is. He either wants you to figure it out, or he thinks its obvious. I mean that songs either really smart or dumb. Not sure.
