He a shady ass nikka and speaks out of pocket to most the employees. He likes to say shyt like "Im putting food on your table. Im paying your bills. Im the one putting clothes on your kids back." and they just let him. I checked him in the very first staff meeting about it and he aint never directed it towards me again. But the recent conversation was about him saying that "aint no one doing me no favors by working here" and my response was "And you arent doing anyone favors by someone working here. Its an agreed arrangement of service at a contracted dollar amount." I decide to work here until I decide not to. You decide to pay me for my service until you decide not you. No one is doing anyone favors. No one is property.

yeahhh As an owner you should NEVER get personal when it comes to defining the employer/employee relationship to your employees. Honest days work, honest days pay, point blank.

All that "You owe me" "im doing you a favor" "I pay your bills/feed your kids"" talk usually leads to saying something even dumber which then leads to occupation discrimination suit.

From what I remember when i used to read sports columns, I generally agree east coast writers are entitled as hell but these dudes aren't the reason why teams aren't winning championships

East coast writers being backstabbing obsessed haters is one of the reasons them east coast teams struggle signing star free agents. Other than the Nets lately. Usually east coast has to overpay a free agent because they don't find it attractive to play where the criticism happens by the time you step in the arena and continues when you no longer play for their team.
Sure if you sign bums you won't win anything no matter where you play. But at least they could try not to make them feel like hostages.
