Jacksonville brehs, why is your rent so cheap?

I went back to Jacksonville this past thanksgiving (I'm not from Florida, but stayed in Jacksonville for a couple of months) and it didn't look the way it dude when I was a kid. Alot of stores were shutdown and shyt just didn't look the same, breh.

I stay off Southside. On Baymeadows. I rarely even go over the bridge. When I was younger and hunting fukkery I did. But man... every evening I turn on the news and it’s murder, robbery , shooting, murder , robbery, shooting:damn: The west side and east side are gully as fukk.



I once shared a house with a homie off of 8th and Ionia back in the day. shyt was like Beirut brehs:sadcam: bombed out and depleted :wow:


Rent was mad cheap for a 3 bedroom house! Payed like 650 or something ridiculous :mjgrin:


But looking back on it I barely avoided some life altering fukkery situations multiple times and did not even realize it.

I went to Dave and Buster's for the first time in Jacksonville. That place is so fun. The banana fosters pie so good.

You know... when I first moved to Jax in the 90’s when I was in the Navy I always heard that Middleburgh was on some crackers in the hills type shyt. :upsetfavre:

Over the last 5 years or so I know of some brehs who moved out there and bought houses. So I am not exactly sure. I plan on doing my own recon of Middleburgh and the surrounding areas.
