What’s the vibe like in your city?

I guess it depends on what you like to do. I don’t go out like I used too. So I am no longer familiar with the club/bar scene. I used to know all the spots.

In my area it’s pretty chill and quiet which is how I like it. I work two jobs so I am usually at home if I’m not at work. I get most of my info about the city from the news and to be honest the shyt is crazy. Literally the news is chock full of fukkery. I get home and make a drink and watch it like


I personally have not had any issues and I have been down here for a good bit now. I just work, stack money, and go on trips when I can out of town.

95% of my pops fam live in Duval so ive been there a lot....go every year to visit fam

Most of em moved outta the east side in the 80s to Arlington or Mandarin so its not dangerous over there at all.

I had an auntie near Moncrief Rd tho

There aint SHYT to do there. The city planners are dominated by Southern Baptists so shyt never changes. They have a jail on the riverfront

Its a stagnant place with shytty food, humid weather, no nightlife, downtown boring as hell, women kinda ..thats why my pops moved to Chicagoland after he graduated FAMU. I have a soft spot since my fams there but i wouldnt wanna live there

However, a lot of businesses are moving there so maybe city will get some culture eventually. Decent malls in Southside/St johns town center i guess

To be real only Tallahassee, Miami/Ft Lauderdale and West Palm Beach are the only decent parts of the state....maybe St Pete but thats mostly old cacs

In Florida, anything outside of South FL area (Miami, Fort-Lauderdale, Palm Beach, Key West) is usually fairly cheap. Except if you live in the party beach towns (Destin, Panama-City, etc)

Jacksonville has seen an increase of tech companies relocating there recently so this may just be the calm before the storm. Ive had several recruiters calling me about jobs in Jacksonville.

Tampa is becoming expensive ...nothing is cheap in the city that's why people move to the burbs

No offense to the homies from Jacksonville but the Black half of the city is very poor and if you are looking for fine women and a nightlife, Jacksonville doesn't really have either.
