Wasted opportunity? The song was gonna do well regardless, if anything, that song by Jaqueese dims her light. If she put him on the track he would've overshadowed her . If people steal your shyt you sue them, point blank. That's how everybody else operates in the world and how successful people protect their business. If i come up with a concept and sound for a song ,its not ok for someone to take it unless i authorize it.

Edit: And i fukk with the Jaqueese song btw. She will be fine. She's barely in the game and got two hits already. Shes talented enough to overcome Jaqueese fans and will reach a farther fan base then he ever will.

Look at the backlash that is happening now, is it a wise move to alienate the growing fanbase (as someone mentioned earlier) or try to incorporate this other persons popularity into your own thing. The reason why social media is undefeated, is simply because it is real people behind them tweets and hearts. Those are the same people who are streaming the songs and watching the video. Social media loves to rally behind a cause......what if everybody decidely said they gonna stop streaming the OG Ella Mae out of being petty....it could work, crazier has happened. In the end it is Ella who loses out...even if legally she was right

Bruh, with no research i can almost bet Ella Mai has more fans that Jaquees . She has two hits and is on her way to stardom, the fanbase she is "alienating" will be off of Jaqueese in 2 years. She will reach audiences all over the world that Jaquees 4'9 ass wont, and she has the maching behind her . That dude is not Chris Brown, Weekend, RiRi or Bey.
