I see you niccas...
In an era where streams and views count then the sh!t was monetized. Anything more than posting a file sharing link can lead to profiting.
They weren’t on the radio or being promoted. She literally blew up doing Chris Brown covers lol
They weren’t on the radio or being promoted.
So did Swae Lee...
So did Tory Lanes (who’s a biting ass nikka himself)
Basically, hold your own nuts and get poppin by your own music. This is what Ella chick and her label did. No one knew about this chick before the song.
Point is, no one should be mad or surprised by this. This is hers and the labels property.
And this has been done before. For example, Maxwell redid “This Womans Work” to absolute perfection. Thing is, he got permission.. he also didn’t recreate the song as soon as it came out he recreated it later down the road and was in an entire different genre.
Regardless of he’s making money or not, hold your own nuts the label can put a stop to your shyt if they want. Tpain had a different song that sounded similar with different lyrics but was a clear “parody” if you want to call it that. Ceelo did the same thing with Redbone but BOTH songs didn’t go anywhere except youtube.
LMAOO THIS happened with Tory lanes controlla remix drake stans was in they feelings
And again, it was because colombia didn’t have toThey play unofficial remixes on the radio all the time, half the people that heard of Dej Loaf heard of her cuz Wayne covered ‘Try me’ on ‘sorry 4 the wait 2...’ that shyt was played all overradio
the radio and Columbia (her label) didn’t send no damn cease and desist. This is disrespectful and not how we do things in our culture... get her the fukk outta here. People do unofficial remixes & videos to shyt every day and he wasn’t making money off it, that’s mixtape culture. Plies shot a whole music video for his boo’d up remix and it was on the radio too, where was the problem then? Jacquees’ version is hot and she’s SALTY
And she owes breezy some checks for those covers that blew her nasal as fukk fake American accent ass up if that’s how we’re going to play it now

lol it's no different than a freestyle. Whats the big deal?Good. What’s he doing as a signed artist remixing CURRENT radio hits?
Remake something from the 00’s or 90’s...also if he’s performing it live at his shows there could be some legal issues going on
And again, it was because colombia didn’t have to
Also, it was because Wayne didn’t recreate her entire song verse/chorus, nothing.
Wayne literally did a freestyle that was hot.. he was doing a lot of hot freestyles at the time. And I never heard wayne freestyles on the radio but thats not the point. Point is, Wayne drops mixtapes reusing hundreds of artists beats but he does not copy anyone’s songs virtually verbatim...
Your point doesn’t make sense here
Plies is a fukking rapper... not a RnB artist
She did Chris Brown covers like hundreds of other people... were they on the radio? Were they mixed and produced to sound like her songs? Did she make money off of them?
Again, the song is the labels property they can do how they see fit. They created the blueprint for the song. It’s easy to come in and make something hot after someone else already gave you the idea and inspiration. Again, hold your own nuts and make your own hit song. Don’t be surprised if a label cuts you off for trying to ride a wave thats not yours and take money out of their pockets because they have every right too unless you got a MOU or some type of proof of permission
Her and her label are mad they made it a hot line and he made it a hot song PERIOD.nikka you the one juelzing hitting me with paragraph after paragraph of run on sentences and no indentationsYou really juelzing like people don’t make unofficial remixes and videos all the time that get radio play and include going across genres (like hip hop overlapping with r&b) and there’s no problem. ‘No Chickens’ was a very popular unofficial rap remix to the very popular r&b song ‘No Scrubs’ by TLC that kept the same hook, verse structure, etc and no one got accused of picking on anybody else. Not to mention Jacquees DID change his lyrics, he kept the structure and hook as it was an UNOFFICIAL REMIX. And he maintains that he wasn’t making money off it which I believe, you make nothing on soundcloud and videos under ten minutes on YouTube cannot be properly monetized either, you make less than one cent per view. So a cease and desist was possibly sent over $200 and a hook? Her and her label are mad they made it a hot line and he made it a hot song PERIOD.

You brought up Wayne for some reason when what he did was nothing like this situation. In fact, Wayne pretty much helped Dej Losf blow up more with remixing her shyt (and actually remixing it... not using her bars or lyrics)
No Chickens???? A Parody song my nikka? FOH, with that lame analogy. No chickens was a parody from nikkas who couldn’t sing or rap that got buzz but wasn’t no where near as popular or taken as serious as No Scrubs
And again, its up to the labels discretion. Thats like Rhianna making a song and Chris Brown unofficially “remixing it”, seriously copying the song, taking her structure, beat, lyfics, etc., but singing it differently and its playing on the radio and interfering with requests of the original song.
What do you think would happen?
And how did he make it a hot song when it was already a #1 song nikka??
have you examined YOUR dissertations caping for this hoe? My point is very clear. It is normal to create unofficial remixes and videos for songs in rap and r&b culture period. His version was hotter than hers period. Her and her label are salty period. You have on a @Stacker Pentecost is right and the only difference now is that the cover is more popular than the OG song
when that’s the whole issue with them even claiming he’s making money off it. Gotta be hot for him to allegedly be making money off it right
