Honestly, Kiss never really disappoints me. I just enjoy him as an emcee and he has one of the greatest voices in Hip Hop History. Since this was a personal album, I understood the more melodic choices. The bottom line is "Huntin' Season" is by far the Hardest record out right now. Pusha didn't have to keep his foot on you know who's neck like this, damn. But since he wanna keep doing interviews and sending subliminal's than Pusha isn't wrong at all.

:merchant:

"They say All is fair in love and war, you said I moved the line just to score, head shots to keep Adidas Pure."

Jada went in too...."Who did it with the GOAT's, who write their own Quotes" Tell em Jada. Man that track hasn't left repeat for over two weeks for me. It has that Mid-90's New York feel specially with that haunting piano. But "Keep it 100", "Closure" were some of the other tracks I liked. I thought the singles were pretty good too like "Me". The Ross record was straight too. Overall I liked it, not his best record but definitely solid.

musically, feels a bit dated. and like a diet rick ross album--surely thats the sound they were aiming for. still an enjoyable album and easy listen. i commend him for attempting something new here. pusha and chainz features r strong. i love me. i doubt he's gaining any new fans here. but worth a listen for dedicated ones.

This album is fire. Very mature, heavy on the singing side of the game but the songs are good. Got justice league vibes like someone mentioned. Ross 2 chainz and pusha skated on here.

Man what a difference in the composition of this kind of rap vs the new stuff. Not hating on the new stuff I like it as well. Just a large spectrum which is great for the genre.

@Mike Wins put me onto this. Somehow I missed it. I slept on this. I assumed it'd be another average Jadakiss solo. I'm really liking this so far.

This is the type of more personal content I've always wanted him to drop. I don't recognize most of the producers but nothing on here so far sounds too cheesy or out of place. Catch and Release is the only weaker joint so far, and I've only got 3 tracks left.

EDIT: Okay I finished the album and there's really only 1 or maybe 2 skippers on here.

Easier on the ears is a great term for this. It's smooth ride music. :jbhmm:It almost reminds me of a lower budget Rick Ross album. And I say that with no offense intended :hubie: because Ross albums sound massively luxurious and immaculate.

His most consistent album for sure. I'm cool with all his solos because at minimum he's good for 8-10 bangers every time, but they tend to be all over the place. This one stays maintains a consistent vibe. We got the best of both worlds from Jada this year, the mature laid back solo joint then back to the heavy street shyt on LOX

facts. its a consistent album which makes it good. I just cant get into unless I am in the mood for it because its not my vibe most of the time with all the other music that is out. but the flow of the album is even and doesnt throw you off like some of his other joints. he put a lot of thought in to it.

He had this running and I hit the :ohhh: I never really gave this a chance but it rode smooth in the ride.
