Jada kinda lying though. When they were talking about dropping a fridge on Diddy, that was like 05-06. He was like 30 already
Had to undap u cuz I listened to the interview

"The let the lox go" campaign was years prior to the hot 97 incident. Let the lox go was around 99 or 2000s

Ehh... U got ur time-frames a lil off. The Lox were pushing to leave Bad Boy 97-98 and signed to Double R in 98.

We are the streets came out in 99 and Jada was born in '75. So they started the movement in their early 20's and then after that, there was still a fight for publishing and other shyt. They were fighting for publishing behind the scenes for like 8 yrs.

By the end of 2005, which was after the Hot 97 interview, the publishing dispute was pretty much cleared up.

Wrong.

Lox debut album on Bad Boy dropped January 13, 1998.

June 1999 is when the Lox wore "Let The Lox Go" shirts at Summer Jam. They got their release around August 1999.
Puff Daddy Speaks About The Lox's Departure From Bad Boy

The Lox album on Ruff Ryders dropped January 25, 2000.

The Lox were basically in their mid 20s when they had their Bad Boy beef, far from teenagers. Sheek is the youngesy and he was born in 1976.

Are you really arguing semantics?

Jada said, teens then "early 20's" another person said 30's and I said the timeline was off. You're arguing over months, I'm making the point that anyone saying they were in the 30's, by only brining up the Hot 97, fridge comments, was AT LEAST 5+ YEARS off because that is NOT when the movement started.

If anyone is wrong it's you for not having the maturity, facts and presence of mind to understand a simple history lesson.

The official release date is January 2000, but EVERYONE around during that time knows the singles were out before that and people from Swizz to Timbaland were circulating songs they worked for the album in 1999.

Fam just say u weren't outside then, don't try. Even ur wiki facts making u look petty.

I hear ya Jadakiss:mjlol:. I'm showing that the "we were teenagers" part was false and you had some of the years wrong. Keep assuming.

Yeah I was just showing that the Bad Boy beef didn't start when they were teenagers.

I mean I would understand if Mase didn't say he tried just the other day to approach him about purchasing it. He then went to the social route after getting denied and seeing everyone gas up the Puff speech. Makes sense to me.

Not at all. They released their first album in 98. They weren’t pushing to get off Bad Boy until 99-00. They still got on the radio when they were 29-30 spazzing on Diddy. Talkin bout some street shyt and Diddy flat said nikkas need to cut it out cause they ain’t doing nothing. Meet him at his office. He also explained his side of it. Like how he let them go and they had came off a platinum record. And how most execs ain’t doing shut like that. And THAT’s when the problems got resolved. Bottom line at no point in this whole ordeal was it solved privately. Even at the end of it when they were damn near 30. The shyt didn’t start when they were teenagers and didn’t end then either. Either way Jada is lying.
