Listened to it for the first time after the verzuz and it’s a lot better than the rep it gets. Not a classic but 8.5/10 with not many skips.

In fact, I listened to all Jada’s albums this week and while there were no classics they’re all at least solid. My only complaint is he tries to hard to follow the Life After Death formula with every other except for Ignatius.
I’m gonna listen to them again too. I kinda forgot about Top 5 DOA too

I agree and love them but theres threads about being the greatest group ever when in reality they dont have 1 classic album between the 3 of them, solo or together

I just think people are going overboard a little bit but i guess that what the internet is for...

DBLOCK !!!

yes they do

Damn, some people think this album is terrible?!? That’s a bit excessive lol. Only songs I didn’t like was “I’m A Gangsta” and “What You Ride For”. “Un-Hunh” with DMX :ohlawd:
that album has 20 tracks on it and you only hate 3 that means its a great album :shaq:

Folks was gonna try to go back and act like he had a classic lol. Real nikkas know better tho. His next shyt gonna have the most anticipation he’s had since KTGG… which is crazy considering he’s been in this shyt like 25 years

he does have a classic but i been saying this check my history:wow:

I always liked this better than his other albums :ehh: kiss is spittin, the good version of Jada’s got a gun, shown disciple, uh huh, We Gonna Make It. The memorable bars off these are :wow:
None of Ya'll Better doesn't get enough love. It's not quite as dope as Recognize but it's still one of my favorite Lox joints.

Jada was going for the top spot during this period

He thought he was competing with Jay...and Ruff Ryders were positioning him to be a top dog

This album was def too formulaic and tried to cater to too many demographics

Kiss should've gave us a debut album full of hard beats & a more cohesive project in general

By this time, the beef with Beans was in full effect

facts...this is around the time hov went back and remixed two songs that kiss was originally on ("best of me" & "fiesta")...somebody may look at you crazy today, but hov felt that pressure.

i'm sure he was relieved when he heard KTGG.

i mean, hov was nailing that whole "everything-to-everybody" model that most rappers in the early 00s aspired to. hov was killin rick rock beats.
