The thing is, they're not. They're afforded a lifestyle to buy into one way of thinking without giving credence to other perspectives. Yes, they're taking lessons of less conventional ways of thinking living into consideration, but this whole interview shows that's their only way of thinking, they've shunned looking at the world thru multiple lenses. It's a typical teenage behavior, but that's why I can't dap them as deep and so unconventional, they've shown no ability to contextualize nor personalize their train of thought.
That's one of the only problems I have with their current mode of thinking. While what they say about school might be true to an extent, 99% of the rest of the population has no choice but to participate in the current school system. You can also tell the heavy influence from Will and Jada on both of them. The danger in this is that the EGO easily inflates and many times the students will assume they're suddenly the master instead of the protege. Obviously I don't know Jaden or Willow personally so I can't attest to if that has happened yet or if it will.
On a positive side, I'm happy to see that so far they're offering what seems to be a positive alternative to current mainstream BS. As the "thug" culture continues to die on vine, it's going to be interesting to see what kids cling to in the coming years. I think there are some great benefits in what they're saying, but it's also very easy to get thrown off course and just become a New Age hypocrite. Like some others have mentioned, it will be interesting to see how they handle the world once they're older and start having to deal with BS they didn't have to face as a kid.
They definitely have a Father that has proved over the past 20 years that he is relentless. Will might not be as popular as he was in the 90's, but he still gets big budget movies and makes moves behind the scenes. You don't hear him getting into beef with people or acting crazy for attention. Seems like a pretty good mentor to me.
