Y’all laughing but he doing it. Think about it. Dude never played the position and hasn’t played meaningful football since Denver. Im not even sure he got on the field in NYC and wherever else.

To be out there doing it, at this old ass age, with zero years of training for it, is pretty amazing. How many other fizzled out qbs could play any position right now, let alone TE.

now I don’t think he’s gonna make it. Or even great at it. But he’s out there doing it.

He's only getting the opportunity because of who he is and who the HC of the Jaguars is. A lot of people would at least try what Tebow is doing if they were given the same opportunity. They haven't though, so what's why it's not the topic of discussion.

Let's not sit here and pretend like this isn't a case of who you know because it's disingenuous to insist otherwise. The only reason he even got the opportunity in baseball was because of who he is. Someone brought up the analogy that Tebow is like a make a wish kid who is getting to live out his life long dreams and that describes his situation perfectly.

He’s only out there doing it cause his college fukk buddy is the HC and if he’s on the roster for 8 games, his pension goes up a significant amount.

Players don't get signed just to be "out there doing it." He obviously is being signed as a gimmick to sell tickets.

And I never said he didn’t. But it’s still a physical feat that isn’t easy to do. That’s all I was saying. You’d think he’d be out there looking like absolute shyt. 10 years off. Never played before.

I couldn’t do my job with 10 years off. Let alone another

Doesn’t mean that you wouldn’t want to try though if given the opportunity, which is the point that I’m making. A lot of people would do things they knew they couldn’t do. The only difference is the lack of opportunity to do so, which Tebow actually has because of who the HC is.

The Tebow hate on here has always been weird.

I don’t have hate for Tebow at all, but I can see other people would have a problem with the nepotism surrounding him. A lot of the current criticism against him could have been avoided had he just taken Belli up on the offer to change positions years ago instead of pivoting towards baseball and then pivoting again when that plan fell through.
