Tebow is a god in Jacksonville. Grew up near there and played for the Gators. Even if he is trash he will put people in the seats

Tim Tebow's defense took them to the playoffs and we pretend that he took them there for you to put on some act that he was a player worth building on.

Belli literally wanted to bring him to NE under the pretense that he would play a position other than QB. Tebow literally did not want to do that and turned down the job because he insisted on playing QB. Now years later, he's in JAX trying to do the same thing that Belli offered him to do years ago
Even Logan Thomas is still out here getting gigs these days because he was willing to make the switch if it meant staying in the league. Tebow's pride wouldn't let him do that and he essentially wasted years in minor league baseball when he could have potentially still been in the league.

tim wanted to be a qb. I’m not knocking him for that
Lamar Jackson has already had more success in the NFL than Tebow did and it's not even close, so the gamble has actually worked out for him. If Tebow really wanted to stay in the NFL, then he would have changed positions years ago when he had the opportunity and not now at 34 years old.
I don't get why it's so hard for dudes to call it what it is. Urban Meyer is the only reason Tebow has been given the opportunity and is in the league now. Teams weren't clamoring for his services prior, so let's not sit here and pretend like they were.
Who is following a tight end who will barely make the roster? It's not as though he's a 12 year vet at the end of his career and young guys are gonna respect his accomplishments or anything.
