Lamar Jackson has already had more success in the NFL than Tebow did and it's not even close, so the gamble has actually worked out for him. If Tebow really wanted to stay in the NFL, then he would have changed positions years ago when he had the opportunity and not now at 34 years old.

I don't get why it's so hard for dudes to call it what it is. Urban Meyer is the only reason Tebow has been given the opportunity and is in the league now. Teams weren't clamoring for his services prior, so let's not sit here and pretend like they were.
I’m not talking about Lamar now lol

he a fukking mvp. U know damn well what I meant

And I never said he didn’t. But it’s still a physical feat that isn’t easy to do. That’s all I was saying. You’d think he’d be out there looking like absolute shyt. 10 years off. Never played before.

I couldn’t do my job with 10 years off. Let alone another
I promise you that dropping fries at McDonald's will not change that much in ten years breh.

I know what you meant and it still doesn't change what I said. If Lamar Jackson didn't have success thus far in his career, then those chants of changing positions would be louder than they are now.

Tebow tried and failed as a QB and instead of changing positions to stay in the league like other guys have, his pride wouldn't let him do so and he essentially wasted time in baseball that never amounted to anything. Those are literally years he could have potentially be in the league honing his craft instead of being completely lost out there like he is now.

Even he would tell you that he fukked up by not taking Belli up on his offer when the opportunity was there.

How did he fail? He was a 2nd year qb. Pretty much a rookie. Led his team to the playoffs and won a game. Never started again.

Tim flaw was his fan base/distraction was bigger than his play.

once again I don’t knock him for not wanting to switch

I've already had this conversation with breh you're quoting. He hates Tebow, just move on.

The reality of the situation is that while Tebow didn't have a skill of NFL QB, he won games reliably because he has talent and knows how to play the game. There's reason to believe he could have improved and really developed into a solid QB, but like you said, his distraction became too great, plus he chose the wrong team to go to after he was replaced by Peyton.

Him getting a second shot in the league is perfectly fine, especially considering that we don't have great TEs on our roster as is anyway.

My nikka :dwillhuh:

You can't have your starting QB out here being a 50% completion passer. We have clowned Cam over the years for his completion percentages, yet Tebow was even worse.

You are not going to have a long leash as a starting QB in this league if you're only completing 50% of your passes. That's just not going to happen. You can spin it however you want, but he was ass as a passer and no team in the league was going to have the patience with him and taking other reps from better QBs on the roster.

We are talking a 46.5% completion percentage as a starting QB. How many other QBs in the league do you think would survive actually playing that bad?

i honestly don't think there's been a college athlete as popular as Tebow in the past 15 years... He was a daily topic on Around the Horn, pti, :comeon: :skip: etc.. etc...

Around the clock coverage of him. That's why his name is still going to resonate. Florida was a dominate program at the time and he was the best player and leader of the team and also basically a pastor to go with it.
Then why did it take his former college coach to give him his opportunity?? If it's all that you're saying, there should have been at least 9 or 10 other teams willing to give another shot in the last five years, no?

So far ive seen two block attempts from YT highlights..Both he lowers his head and tries to chip the defender with his shoulder.....So your telling me he switched to tight end over 6 months ago and no NFL coach has told him how to block properly....Really? Hes lowering his head and diving at people...I guess he makes a million or so with other things he does cause if he didnt he would know AT LEAST the form of blocking...Hes not even attempting the right form...HE doesnt need the NFL money this is just for shyts

Dudes in here are literally acting like Tebow chose to stay in baseball and willingly had been turning down NFL gigs all this time until he decided that he wanted to play with Urban Meyer lol. He fukked up turning down the opportunity from Beli and wasted years floundering in baseball because his pride wouldn't let him play a position outside of QB.

Even they don't believe the argument that they're trying to make for Tebow.
