Hes a solid Quarterback and I don't think hes disliked at all as a person. But talking heads started mentioning him as a premiere elite quarterback when hes clearly not, so naturally these conversations will be had.
Keep in mind there's always been conversations about Hurts regarding his throwing ability and decision making, it just halted when his team started winning.

They just need to run an offense that actually fits their players. Nonstop shotgun, next to no real motion, very predictable run plays...this is not a 2025 NFL offense. Hurts deserves some blame but overall this is the product of a bad OC. A frankly we gotta talk about Sirianni, who has now hired two god awful OCs in a row. I'm not counting Kellen Moore because it was clear the owner and GM got all in his ass and hired babysitters for him last season. I don't think it's crazy to suggest the Eagles move on from him in a year or two.
He went from not being better than Tua or an NFL quarterback to outplaying Mahomes and winning a Superbowl.
Even more offensive, he won one before "Joe Cool," Lamar Jackson, & Josh Allen.
That can't go unpunished.

prove people wrong for years so now they're doubling and tripling down to feel justified that they're "right". hurts has his flaws (just like every other QB), but the hate around him has always been centered on this. the cop out is that the world is calling him elite and they're mad at that when that's far from the truth. maybe 30% of eagles fans run with that, while majority of the media and nfl fans in general has been shytting on him even after the SB win. most discourse from non eagles fans on here never actually dives into the offense and full context into things, just surface level slander to fit a narrative.

I get what yall are saying about his play. It wouldnt be an issue if that is all people were doing. I mean we had Eli, Joe Flacco, Matt Ryan all get elite mentions and people naturally would push back.
However, people are now attacking Hurts personality/character and such when it never went that far for the other Qbs when arguing if they are elite or not. Its not like Hurts is out here campaigning that he some elite qb either.
