Most projections don't have him as a first rounder :dwillhuh:
QB'd two different teams to the final 4. One was a conventional pro style and the other was more of a spread.

He doesn't have the quickest release and not great at reading progressions in the pocket.

best case scenario for him would be to go to NE and sit a yr or 2, or San Diego (oops LA) behind Rivers, or even New Orleans behind Brees.

he's not ready to start off the bat but he could become a top 12 QB under the right tutelage in the right system.

Not saying you're wrong but how did you come to this conclusion? For the most part, he seems to make the reads necessary for getting first downs and winning.

You really shouldn't have brought up his Bama days seeing as he played poorly enough throughout the season to get benched in a championship game of all places.

Like, breh, multiple posters (including myself) who have watched his Bama games have stated how garbage his accuracy was on a consistent basis.

He would underthrow wide-open receivers, which would force them to make Moss-like catches. Essentially, he was a step above Phillip Sims: great, powerful runner with good arm strength and mediocre at best accuracy.

In other words, the nikka was living off of Bama's talent his two years there.
