He carved out his own space in the early 2000s and his music was a dance club/party staple everywhere.

If that's just okay....I don't know who you are comparing him to.
Okay would be like...Sean Kingston...who had some popular songs that nobody listens to anymore.

Sean Paul's hits are still bangers today.
