Um, her words do matter, because they reveal the type of woman she is. The apparent glee she expresses at putting to death what she calls a "baby" is morbid, no matter how you frame it. It makes her sound sociopathic. :yeshrug:
So how would you judge her if she resented the child and subjected it to a harsh life?
She is not expressing glee she is telling the truth. Just because you make a good decision doesn't mean it feels good or makes you happy. You don't know how she feels based on a tweet. The reality is is that some people are not fit/ready to have a child. And if they feel the best thing is to abort then that is their decision.

And I'm not even arguing from a moral or religious standpoint. I'm talking about pure common fukking sense.

Condoms
Day after pills
Birth control
Pull out
Female condoms
IUDs
Spermicide

There's too many factors you had to say "fukk it" to first to arrive at the "Opps! My bad" excuse.

I gotta ask, what's your point?

Are you critiquing women who get abortions for being "wreckless"?

Because trying to assign a measure of ones problem solving skills to a what is a base instinct of humans is kinda how we're going down this road of anti abortion sentiment in the first place.

What is this world coming to :coffee:...

It's funny how TLR a day or two ago was championing the thought of having kids only to now champion abortions on this thread...

TLR seems to be schizophrenic nowadays, say one thing today but say another tomorrow:coffee: .

To each his/her own I guess :yeshrug:.

Then don't have sex. It's really that simple. Pregnancy is one of the consequences of sex.
:ehh: I'm sure ignoring one of your biological functions is the best way to go, as opposed to use of safe-sex methods that still have a chance of failure.
You're not completely wrong, but that's not realistic for most people :hubie:

From several standpoints she made it clear that it was the best decision of her life and from the looks of it I agree with her, I know many people in my circle that had kids early and broke and will likely never truly recover.

The cost from a financial standpoint is enormous, poor and almost middle class people usually can't afford to raise their kids in a competitive environment and yet they still are trying to do so, if you are Black and lucky enough to end up middle class chances are your kid is gonna end up poor (especially if you have sons), and if you are broke the psychological benefits of having kids doesn't seem to be highly prevalent. And then take into consideration the loss of autonomy/agency that occurs when a child is brought into the situation, especially for poor folks where agency is usually already pretty low.

Truth is people are going to have raw sex...increasing the chances of financial, emotional, and physical ruin just to engage in some misguided moral grandstanding is ridiculous to me.

I agree with you 100%, but what if the man is not ready and the woman CHOOSES to have the baby, why should the man be on the hook for child support???
Life’s not fair :Idkbro:.

I would suggest only fukking ppl that have something to lose and not looking for a come up. But as of right now dudes will get the short end of the stick with that.
