Jameis version of what had happened was.

He said he ordered the crab legs then got the rest of the food and paid for it then went back and got his crab legs and walked out. He forgot to pay for them.

His citation just means 20 hours of community service and it goes away completely. He will likely be suspended from the baseball team until he finishes it but won't effect football.

all he had to say was my bad and he didn't realize his mistake as he paid for his other groceries. Why would you admit to realizing you didn't pay when ya got back to the crib?!?!? Just say ya thought you paid...ask to see the tape and pay the store.

How to you allow yourself to get a citation and community service especially when your bought something at the store. I have accidentally put a pack of gum in my pocket while in line before...and if you go back to the bakery or deli in a store after you get the other stuff it's easy to forget.
