The chick i was with aint shyt and has proven she hasn't had my back in situations like this but this girl that worked at the bar wouldnt give my card back until i told her who said it so she could chew his ass out. That's my real friend right there i was just tryna get my card and get out before i caught a charge. This was the 2nd racist incident i encountered today. Today felt like damn near 1964

Oh the university still makes out, but they're supposed to.

They fit the bill for the coaches, fields, weigh rooms, jerseys, security, staff, teachers,programs etc.

These kids are given scholarships, worth big money, things regular folks would kill to have,

The idea that college players are treated like slave labor is ridiculous, they are rewarded handsomely for their talents.

But i`m not gonna change anyones mind on this, people worship those who can play a game well in this country

But bro... Some athletes in college walk around school in their sports sweats most of the time... And it isn't to show off

When I was 18, I went on an official visit to a smaller d1a Midwestern school.

Each recruit was paired with a 2nd year guy, and they kicked it with us the entire weekend. These 2nd year guys are given $50 dollars to entertain us. Now some of the players were so broke that they were pocketing the $50 dollars breh... $50 dollars...

$50 dollars....

I was lucky enough to be paired with a Dude who was of an upper middle class background who wanted to party and have fun. Now think about that dude who grew up like Navarro bowman in hone back woods in a run down trailer. it can be a struggle. Many college students struggle, and that $50 dollars is something that a lot of non athletes would love. But atleast these kids can go and get jobs.

The problem is you are thinking the perks outweigh the cons. But not every college has it like that. It is a case to case, school to school basis and in many ( I can't say most because that is hard to prove) cases it can be pretty bad. Sure they go to a party or bar and never have to pay to party, free p*ssy, being local celebs. But what about that 1am on a Tuesday, you sitting around the dorm playing madden, and you want to run grab some food somewhere, but the caf is closed. No money, you sitting their
