People don't understand that the firing came from Walt Disney Company, not Disney Studios, MCU, Marvel etc. That means the cacs in the suits at the top fired him and pretty much nothing can be done about that. A GOTG sequel probably won't happen anyways because of the Fox deal, they'll just replace them with the X-Men or something. Avengers 4 is probably the last we'll see of them because i'm pretty sure a lot of them are gonna want out of their contracts.

Idk, depends on how this goes with the actors with one already on "fukk Disney" mode. GOTG 3 was suppose to be the next MCU film to film after SMHC2. I think they were gonna start this year, that's obviously not happening anymore. If anything they'll just replace the actors who don't wanna play hardball for 3 with Thor or some other cats.

End of the day the actors ain’t gonna do shyt but whine on twitter they ain’t gonna walk away from a cheque.

And Edgar Wright walked away from ant man in May and they hired Peyton reed and were filming it by August.


Marvel films are plug and play. They will just find some bum like they always do and insert him in after they have 14 people do a rewrite of the script to add more jokes.

There is nothing unique enough that James Gunn did that can’t be replaced by a plethora of other directors.

I read their statement and I get it and I've heard the "Stop weaponizing mob mentality" argument before but he was joking about pedophilia and I can't just let that slide. I think where the cast and crew see this public shaming not for what he said in the past but that a right winger was the one who got him canned.
