It's still his party, so technically he could and should be held responsible.
Yeah just take half of his money when you didn’t work for it

When she never called the cops

And harden didn’t even do what’s she says was done

Perfect way to lay out ground work to take other peoples money in the future

Just on the surface it seems it would be hard to pin James Harden for negligence when he hired security for the event. Sounds as if she may have had an issue with security which may actually be negligence on the Security's part and not Harden.

On the night of Dec. 31, 2024, court records said the woman filing the suit and two of her friends went to a gentleman’s club called Polekatz, where they spotted Harden in the club’s VIP section. Soon after, the group learned there would be an afterparty at Harden’s home.

At the mansion, court documents state how the women were inspected by Harden’s security team and directed to a studio in the home, where Harden and other guests were hanging out. They also noticed that other women had passed out in the home.
Court records said the women were approached by Justice Armani Blackburn, Harden’s nephew. Blackburn offered the three women a drink from a bottle he was holding, and they each drank a small amount.
From there, one of the women told investigators her memory became hazy, and she felt as though she was fading in and out of consciousness and unable to speak clearly.
The next thing she remembered, court documents noted, she recalled being assaulted by Blackburn. She also remembered being asked if she was on birth control during the attack.
Shortly after the assault had stopped, Harden’s security members entered the room and told the woman to leave the mansion.

Investigators said the woman was searching for her phone, but they rushed her out before she could find it. Her friends retrieved the phone before they were also escorted out. When her friends were asked to leave the mansion a short time before, the security team lied to them about her still being in the mansion, saying “there were no more women in the house.”

The lawsuit alleges that Harden’s security team allowed the women to be vulnerable inside the home, putting them in danger. The suit added that the security team’s urgency to remove the victim’s friends allowed the assault to happen and delayed her in receiving necessary help.
None of the parties involved have been criminally charged at this time. Harden has not publicly responded to the situation.

I mean if something happens on your property, then you’re held liable for it.

Not the same situation as you're taking it to the extreme :mjlol:

If you're having a party or get together and someone gets injured while at said party or property, you could be held liable for it. No different than someone getting injured in your car.
You sounding a lil shaky counselor :pachaha:

this is the same exact case Akademiks is fighting right now
really?
When Charlemagne was getting exposed by Star it was for a similar situation
Nate Parker basically lost his career over his roommate raping someone in their crib (allegedly, I don't think the roommate even got convicted or nothing)

Some shyt not adding up in that story.

1. All three women took a drink from the bottle but only she fell unconscious?

2. It says she was looking for her phone after the assault but her friends "retrieved" the phone. How would her friends know to look for her phone in the first place unless she told them she lost her phone? But how could she tell them she lost her phone if they were escorted out of the mansion before the assault? Doesn't add up.

yup...
he was passed out in bed and ol girl had a threesome with two of his friends...
it was on camera and the cops cleared him.

but now she's suing for money.

Same thing happened with Tupac...
the woman had sex with some dudes at his party and he went down because of it.

Not at all.

I think people just tend to forget that they can be responsible if something happens on your property or a party that you’re hosting.

I think if someone gets injured due to something negligible with the actual property itself that the owner didn't get fixed or didn't notify people of then sure, that's 100% on the owner and they should be held responsible.

But to hold someone responsible for something they literally played no part in and had no knowledge of is beyond crazy.

I don't understand how you can bypass criminal charges in a sexual assault and go straight to a civil suit. Prove the crime happened first then sue for damages.

It's especially shakey if the nephew isn't facing and legal consequences just Harden. Because he's not rich he gets away with rape? :why:

Not really the same because the victim said she alone with Tupac when Haitian Jack and his crew walked in the room. He got up and left her there.
