By the numbers, they're extremely close IMO. Anthony is the better 3pt shooter, rebounder and scores on a higher volume. While Harden is much better at drawing fouls and playmaking. Harden is also a more efficient scorer than Anthony.
Both are average defenders.. so yeah, there's definitely a legit argument for both players. I prefer Anthony for now, just based on him being a veteran and has proven he can sustain this type of play for a longer period. But for the long run I would obviously choose Harden and I wouldn't be surprised if he'll surpass Anthony when he's done.
EDIT: I'm also very impressed at Harden being able to score more efficiently than Anthony on a much worse team. The fact that he still has a 60+ TS % on this team, as a first option is mind-boggling.
