Yeah of course... but the notion that they have to "do right by him" and accept any ol shytty package while turning down substantially better offers sounds crazy as hell lol

Sh*t is weird how this stuff is set up. If this is real life you could just go to the company you wanted to go to as long as you didn’t have a non-compete. Your old company couldn’t force you to go work for a trash company for 2 years until your “contract” was up. There should be a way for players break their contract. Maybe they should have to give back a lot of money but there should be a way.

Any of us could have said this, because it seems logical from the Rockets standpoint but I don't think this is necessarily true. There is no way the Rockets are going to get equal value for Harden, the time to get a good trade for him was to trade him before he requested to be traded.
I disagree. The biggest issue with Brooklyn is their picks aren’t going to be worth anything. Would the Pelicans trade Ingram plus their pick and future picks? Chicago could trade Lavine and their top 3 pick and future picks.

Call Danny Aigne and get Tatum to Houston.

we gotta trade for high potential.

tatum and Hayward for Harden
The Celtics willing to trade a young star who got them to the ECF 2 out of his only 3 years in the league for a 31 year old who clearly don’t want no where else but Brooklyn?? :dwillhuh: Jaylen brown I could sort of understand but Tatum?:ld:
