Could have gotten Levert who has potential at $18 million for the next two and a half years. Even if Oladipo isn't expiring 1. The 2021 class isn't enticing and 2. He's not going to be enough to move the needle for them and I highly doubt that they'd want to pay the money it would take to keep him.

I 100% agree with you. I would've wanted LaVert over Oladipo but I'm not Rafael Stone unfortunately :(

2021 class is doodie I think. Even the 2020 class wasn't all that exciting.

That's what makes me think that the owner is looking to save money as the trade for Oladipo makes no sense whatsoever.

Even if they trade him at the deadline, then they aren't going to get back in return what they could have gotten out of Levert.

That's Tilman telling Rafael to save as much as possible.

Can we trade Tilman to the Knicks and sign another owner in free agency?

The league needs to step in and force him into selling the team. He got the reduced payroll that he wanted out of the deal, so I doubt that he cares in the slightest.

Is that really the best deal that Houston could get in return for Harden :mjlol:
-Rockets were concerned with team building around Ben Simmons as a complete non-shooter next to John Wall during Harden trade negotiations -Philly never offered picks totally unprotected like Brooklyn did and that is what Stone's main goal in the trade was

-Rockets asked other teams about their interest in Caris LeVert during the Harden trade negotiations and found there wasn't much interest from other teams and that Oladipo would be easier to trade again if necessary

That's a flawed logic considering the fact that Houston got less in return for Dipo, then what they gave up to get him. If that was Houston's grand plan, then Indy could have kept him themselves and flipped him at the deadline for a better player than supposedly the one where wasn't much interest from other teams. Hell, Indy would have traded him in the offseason if they could have gotten a good return for him.

Just face it..... their plan involving Dipo completely backfired and they got shyt back in return for him as everyone called their bluff.

Nahhh Houston is looking to save as money much as possible lol.

Kudos for Indy holding out on trading Oladipo and getting a great return for him.

You were wrong  and rockets did win in the end.

Ready to admit Houston won this trade yet? Once KD is gone nets are irrelevant for years to come until the rockets don't own their pick.
