Uncertain grounds
I can only speak for myself, but the overdependence on them without looking to actively score is a bad habit, and isn't conducive to winning as a #1 option in the long run. I mean we've seen the struggles he's had in the postseason for the last three years now. He's in the same boat as Karl Malone: a player whom maximizes easy scoring opportunities, but has no Plan B when they dry up.

Yup. When they call the game differently in the playoffs it all goes to shyt. Fast breaks the other way and no rhythm for teammates.

Averaging more FTs without taking into account minutes played, time of possession, drives per game, FTs in penalty etc etc doesn't mean a damn thing.

Worst. Spin. Ever.

The stat from the premise of this thread is due in Harden's case to his efficiency but somehow some of these posters try to take that as a bad thing. #colilogic

This stat is also true for Westbrook by the way but they don't mention that. I wonder why..:sas2:

Could it be because in Westbrook's case it's actually a bad thing because he's chucking up so many shots? :steviej:

That's. Not. A. Spin. It's. Applying. The. Proper. Context. It's. Not. Just. As. Simple. As. Looking. At. FTs. Averaged. I. Wouldn't. Expect. You. To. Understand. This.

Is that why Curry, the official biggest choker in NBA history, has a bigger career dropoff in FG% in the playoffs than Harden too? :ohhh:

This was corny the first time you posted it.

It was as factual then as it is now, just like the second part of that sentence. Let us know soon as you're ready to come to grips with the fact that Curry's game doesn't work in the playoffs. :mjlol:

His success stands and falls by his teammates' performance. :yeshrug:

Believing your own lies and lack of understanding of the game doesn't = fact.

Curry has a bigger career FG% dropoff in the playoffs than Harden does breh. It's a fact and will remain so no matter how much you spin, lie or how much Curry bricks shots when it matters most breh.

It is true that if you look at the difference between regular season shooting % and postseason shooting % that curry has a bigger drop.
It's also true that Curry's playoff shooting percentage 44.4% is better than Harden's regular season shooting percentage 44.3%

This doesn't seem like a good way to take away from Curry.

And this is without taking into account that Curry shoots TWICE the amount of 3-pointers. Forgive @inndaskKy, he has a hard time using his brain sometimes.

Curry misses almost as many shots per game as Harden even attempts breh. Harden's FG% is offset by his ability to get to the line whereas all Curry has is a green light to chuck as many shots as he can to avoid looking like Rajon Rondo out there with the scoring.:heh:
