It wasn't even close :what:

Did he exceed expectations like Beto did against Cruz?
It wasn't close. Doesn't mean he ran a bad campaign. Most of us thought he was much closer than the end result. He showed up in the debates and the field. People in and outside of the state learned of what he was trying to do accomplish.

And comparing South Carolina and Texas is comparing apples to oranges, especially in the Democratic field. You comparing them tells me you've been to neither.

North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
What was he suppose to do with the 100 mill besides run a campaign and purchase ad space? Was he suppose to pocket that money for himself?

For $100 million, you're supposed to run a BETTER campaign that will enable you to WIN.

He ended up being a $100 million loser instead.

That’s because SC wasn’t trying to have 2 black senators in a deeply red state... I bet you he will have better success running against Tim Scott

At some point you cant keep using that as an excuse. Deep red to me equals gerrymandering and voter suppression. Which can be overcome with the right campaign strategy.

Clyburn should be ashamed that Abrams was able to accomplish more in georgia than hes ever accomplished in SC.

How many unregistered voters are there in general is the real question.

If you're not registering a new generation of voters, then the controlling party will always remain in control.
Well isn’t that the head of the DNC fault not putting resources in SC if they genuinely see that a state like SC could flip? It’s why I’ve been saying the DNC should make Abrams the chair..

Also a lot more educated voters are moving to GA because a lot of big tech, Hollywood, and other corporations are relocating there.. it’s not hard to see..

:mjlol: at idiots blaming Jaime for the amount of money sent to him. fukk outta here.
He solicited the money along with the Dem establishment.

Dude is a former lobbyist for the Podesta group who flushed $100 million down the toilet and got washed by 15 points against a shytty incumbent.

There is nothing about him that makes him remotely qualified for DNC chair. You fukk outta here.

Sounds like the boy in your avatar

All that did was teach us SC racism is more valuable than 100 mill

Nope, if the Lions didn’t pay Stafford, wtf would they have done with the money? Give 100 million to Suh? Democrats spent a fortune on Harrison, Beto and GI Jane in KY to shyt on themselves when they could’ve directed those funds elsewhere. My hypothesis is that the advisor/lobbyist class felt they would gain more attention/esteem through races against Cruz/McConnell/Graham, rather than more vulnerable seats.
