Reparations isnt a hill im gonna die on, but as a capitalistic society we cannot move forward past racism and White Supremacy without talkin about the wholesale theft and pillaging of resources/human capital conducted on a global scale to the people of African descent. You cannot mention privilege as always some vague abstract concept or as minimal as "the teacher treated your black son worse than the white kid" when the consequences are very much measured in dollars, enough money to build and topple entire human societies.
