This ain't nothing new this has been going on for many decades there has been multiple anime's and other Japanese mediums covering such things since the late 80's, though these things are usually presented in a humorous manner. Interesting in Angola where my parents are from they see weed smokers as criminals and bums, though they have no issues with bribery or adultery. In other eastern countries Adultery will send you straight to another dimension and in another(West) it's totally ok even heavily promoted various platforms of media.
